A Super-Marathon for the protection of the Greek seacoast: 240 kilometres of coastline, from the Corinthian Isthmus to the town of Marathon.
The aim of this initiative is to highlight the importance of the Greek seashore and to promote public accessibility to our magnificent beaches.
The Greek actor and Marathon runner, Agis Emmanouil, is going to run from the Isthmus of Corinth to the town of Marathon, with interim stops at Elefsina, Eliniko, Sounio and Porto Rafti.

From 8 till 12 July (2014) he is going to run the distance of 240 kilometres within five days.

His project intends to point out the significance of protecting our seas, raise awareness and engage citizens in taking part in this practice.
The Bill on the Greek Seashore introduced by the Ministry of Finance includes major legal failures and irregularities that can pose a threat to the Greek seas as well as the environment.
Therefore, we should all join, facilitate and encourage this project, so as to protect the natural beauty of our country and prevent the adoption of a framework law that bans public accessibility to the Greek seacoast.
